Bethel Park’s Mrs. Eileen Wallace will be among eight exceptional nurses recognized at the Pittsburgh Penguins’ Nov. 19 game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Washington Elementary third graders studying the Nervous System welcomed school nurse Eileen Wallace, who read Your Fantastic Elastic Brain to help them learn about brain growth and adaptability. The reading session provided students a unique, hands-on experience to deepen their understanding of how their brains work and develop.

BPSD will host a Flu Shot Vaccination Clinic on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the BPHS Gym.

The 9th Annual Operation Feed A Neighbor drive, in partnership with Bethel Park and South Park organizations, seeks donations of food, money, and supplies to support local families in need, with collections running November 1–21, 2024, and distribution on November 23 at the Spencer Family YMCA.

In February, the Bethel Park School District circulated a survey to parents, students, and community members regarding potential changes to school start times.

In November, Bethel Park recognized Children's Grief Awareness Day. Students and staff wore blue to acknowledge those we have lost.

The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer is a program that helps families cover the cost of breakfasts and lunches if their children would have been eligible for the NSLP.
