On April 22, the Bethel Park baseball team held a fundraiser for the school’s Best Buddies program. The weather was brisk but beautiful, only made better by the warm smiles on the faces of all the buddies and ballplayers.
The event featured the buddies in attendance having the opportunity to share the ball field with their baseball-playing schoolmates, plenty of activities and a food truck. The Hawk even made an appearance.
The event was capped off with the Hawks defeating Connellsville, 7-1.
