Senior Clara McGough and junior Cam Wallace have each earned recognition on the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 1 Honors Orchestra. They each perform under the tutelage of Orchestra teacher Mrs. Stephanie Glover.
The Bethel Park High School violinist and bassist, respectively, who each performed live before a panel of judges, were selected for the highly competitive ensemble among high school students who auditioned from across Southwestern Pennsylvania.
The selected students will perform alongside other elite student musicians before guest conductor Dr. Alexandra Dee, Director of Orchestral Studies and Conductor at Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. The performance will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023, at Mt. Lebanon High School.
